The Chairman of CIP, Dennis is responsible for acquiring new land banks and developable land for the future.
Dennis has more than 25 years’ experience in property and has a keen understanding of the value of land and what’s required in its acquisition – from understanding cycles, identifying growth corridors, building relationships with those representing land sales, being aware of planning guidelines and decisions on undeveloped land, to understanding where the next tranche of land is coming from.
A qualified civil engineer and registered builder, Dennis began his career working as a civil engineer at the Loy Yang ‘A” power station in the Latrobe Valley. He subsequently joined the family company, the Santilli Group, where he honed his skills in buying industrial land and building factory/warehouse/office facilities. The relationship with Paul McKenna, fostered during strategic joint ventures with Walker Corporation and later Australand, and similarities between the two led to Dennis rolling Santilli Group into CIP.
Dennis is also Chairman of logistics company, ABX Logistics Australia, a role which is complementary to his CIP responsibilities.
